Hello All -
I was asked to create a painting to be used for marketing & social media for the show "Hallowed Be Thy Myth" curated by undergroundrobin and show title credit to artist Glenn Barr - show opens October 4th, 2019 at Brassworks Gallery in Portland OR.
Theme show is to create and illustrate your favorite urban legends / myths. I googled urban legends and discovered a common legend is that in the city, you are never never more than 5 feet away from a rat.
I thought it would be fun to show you the process along the way to creating this piece, here are 3 images from start to finish.
